month of September is the month of renewal, new pencils, new shoes and pants.

The leaves change color, days shorten. In general, it is quite pleasant one month EXCEPT:

The year of the CP (grade 1) Louise and the year of CE2 (Grade 3) Marius are in a new school: Andre Piolat. This is a reservation school to the Canadian program for Francophone families.
They spent 2 years in EFIV: The French International School where they received the program CNED France, professors from France, the history lesson on de Gaulle and King Clovis and small classes between 10 and 14 students - a nice little bubble franchouillard well.
We consider the 2010/2011 year as a time bonus in Vancouver and as a transition year to prepare our return.
We decided to change their school. Being in a French-Canadian school, they will know the classes of 20 + students, learn the history of the country (and no, it was not a case of genocide and business) and learn to be Canadian. They already have a small Anglo-Quebecois accent ...

The month of September is now complete. After a month, we're glad of the change. The kids had a few small shot tracs but the experience is good. Louise has realized the need to play games for girls to make friends and then propose to play its games.
