May 28 to June 28, 2010
month of June has been particularly busy for us.
Camping at Long Sault.
weekend of 28, 29 and 30, we went camping at Long Sault with Rosanne (Marielle's sister) and Alain and our friends Lucy and Nelson Caron. The islands of the Long Sault include several provincial parks and campgrounds. The spaces are large, green, clean with lots of trees. Two services are offered only water and electricity, but enough for a few days. Public toilets are easily accessible for those who prefer used.

Camping Vermont
The place is very nice for nature lovers who value wilderness camping and we finally enjoyed our experience except maybe Sunday when we woke up in a torrential rain that followed us until we return home. I took the opportunity to refueled before leaving the United States because the level was low and I saved $ 80.00, amazing ...
Camping in Drummondville.
Our friends, Yolande and Claude Maltais Drummondville, have their own campsite on the outskirts of the city. Their land is adjacent to the campground's Rest Area of Drummondville and they have built with all the services for their motor and needed to accommodate 3 guests with their RVs. I'm jealous ...
The poor Claude had to return to work Monday morning while Jean-Pierre took a well deserved break and we decided to stay with them until Monday morning. As it was raining in the morning, we have not skimp on the spot and we ended rather IKEA Boucherville going to buy some accessories we needed.
Moving
We moved Friday, June 18 It was easy because, not working, we carried boxes throughout the week and placed the whole. As we gave half our household before leaving by boat four years ago, there were many large pieces and we have committed our nephews Sebastian and Vincent, two big six feet, to do the job. The furniture store will take over the second half in early July. Unfortunately, being back in Halifax, we will not see our new furniture before the month of August.
Back Halifax
Since that time we thought we finally decided to make the trip on the American side for a change. The distance is the same, we had heard that the scenery is beautiful and the cost of gasoline is much lower, which is not a negligible factor when your car is only 8 miles per gallon.
Our suggested to GPS Highway of the Eastern Townships and crossing the lines near Coaticook. Coincidentally, Nicolas was competing in motocross at Derby that was on our travels and we decided to stop Saturday. There is a campground (CHAR-BO) a few minutes from the track making it easy to access. We have made a good supper at the restaurant Saturday night and we went to attend the first race Sunday morning, after which we took the road because we had a lot of mileage to cover.
The next morning we woke up in a downpour. A huge system that covered our travels to Nova Scotia has produced heavy rains with high winds all day. We had hoped to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Atlantic coast to St. John, New Brunswick, but rather we traveled through the clouds and fog. Moreover, contrary to what I had thought there were lots of mountains near the coast which is more demanding on the motor. Next time we'll take Highway 95 to Woodstock, New Brunswick.
I had refueled twice in the U.S., the second time before crossing to Canada and I saved at least $ 150.00 compared to previous trips we have done in Canada. We saw a multitude of ads campgrounds throughout our journey and we believe that we should take a week, at least for this trip and the opportunity to visit the region.
Finally, the rain stopped on the approach to Halifax and we were able to install on our site comfortably when we arrived at dinner time. Our motor will remain here until the middle of October but we will return frequently to Montreal, the next time at the beginning of August to see our new furniture and spend a couple of weeks.
